Default Hogs and no water

Got on a new lease this year. A few folks said they 'see' hogs on their cameras. Huge hogs. But. The lease has no ponds besides one small small small one. Which has no hog wallows or tracks. Is it possible hogs are around with no ponds tho?

Oh heck yes; hogs are migratory and might roam several miles in search of food and water every day. In hot months hogs normally tend to bed closer to a water source only because they have to have a place to cool off, since they don’t have sweat glands they need to cool off their bodies or they will die. I hunt on a place that is over 600 acres and it’s over run with pigs. Just because the property doesn’t have water someone close to you does.
