I recently shot a large sow with my bow, and after letting her lay for a little while and then a slow, painfull tracking job through thorn infested woods.....I finally found her.
She had something in her mouth and covering most of her eyes. It looks like dried cornbread batter. I know that sounds stupid, but it's the only thing I can think that it looks like. It's all caked up and light yellow.
Didn't know if it was worms or what....shot her under a corn feeder, so if this "stuff" was only in her mouth I would just think it was chewed up corn....but it's also caked up in her eyes.
I've seen this on several larger pigs I've shot...just never really knew what it was.
Anyone have any ideas?

I would say it's corn, being that you shot her under a feeder. Hogs don't just pick up their food with their mouths, they dig for it. And in the process of rooting for their food, it gets all over their heads.
