So private land owners and goverment is limiting the ability to reduce the hog population effectively? i'm pretty lucky to own three parcels of marginal land: All have hogs: Boy, does one of those places have hogs. Problem is that all three places are some distance from our home. We do have permission to hunt several other properties. |
same here i take between 100-150 hogs per year, i butcher 90 percent of the hogs, and use or give the meat to needy families, the other 10 percent are sold or used in training pups
i don't think you could drive hogs, when the dogs hit them they scatter like quail, last year or so the hogs have got to ruunnin alot more, chase some a mile or more before they can be bayed |
