ok this might sound stupid but hear me out.

with my dogs and a knife i can do it year round here in florida. if dogs are alowed that is.

now a few of the wma here in florida that i want to check out do not alow hunting hogs with dogs (crazy i know) so time to dust off the old shotgun.

so they each have there own general gun seasons but hogs are year round so when can i hunt them year round or just during the gun seasons??

anyone know?

i guess there really only year round if you have guns and bows and knives otherwise you have to follow the weapon season rather than the animal season?

not sure about fl but here in ga you can hunt them year round, except for wmas. on wmas you can hunt them with small game weapons during small game hunts, or big game weapons on deer hunts any other time they are off limits.. sounds stupid i know, but thats how it is.

That's how it is in Louisiana...

Here in NC they open year round, but there has to be an open season in order to hunt the Game Lands (wma), technically you can carry a gun to hunt them on public land but in my area there have too many people caught hunting deer with a gun during bow season claiming to be hunting hogs. So just proves a few bad apples ruin the whole bunch.
