Hogs and Exotics Gun or bow, you can stretch your season and fill the freezer with wild hogs and an assortment of exotics.

I've got a question for you swine slayers out there.

I have always done it like the Rev mentioned, but I add 2 cans of Red Devil Lye to it.......It will puff-up like Hominy Grits!

What The Rev said about soured corn.

I also use a pig toy. A pig toy is a piece of PVC pipe with an end cap fixed in place with a chain attached. The other end cap is removeable for filling. Drill three or four 5/8" holes in the pipe. Fill with corn and tether the toy to a post.

The hogs find the toy and toss it around to get the corn out. This one had too many holes and they emptied it too fast-hence the tape. Have killed a lot of hogs at my pig toys.

I also have some big ones made from 30 gallon plastic barrels.

well....what i was gettin at about diesel

diesel is good in the warm/hot months...hogs roll in it to get ticks and parasites off of them...in my trap in the summer time, a few splashes of diesel brings em right to the trap...but in winter it doesnt seem as effective...ever notice the hogs rubbin the telephone poles...this is the same.

If you buy the fly bullets made for horses and cows then pour livestock backrubber/delicer on it they will rub the heck out of it and itll kill the ticks off em so you aint gotta deal with em when your sittin on em or cleanin em.
