here is a link to the princeton tec apex headlamp with red floods. I have one of these. The spotlight is 130 lumens! I also have the one with the white flood lights. I have used the red ones to get to my stand before dawn, it works great on those reflective tacks you can get.

I use rechargeable batteries and always have spares with me, so the issue of my headlamp going dead hasn't affected me. I top it off before I leave if I think the batteries are weak.

The spotlight is really amazing. I get mine from brightguy.com because there are still older models that are less then 130 lumens out there. Not only is the 130 lumen model brighter, but the beam is wider as well, and since I don't worry about batteries, I pretty much always have it set to bright.
