Default Junior scores

Well finally after repeated trips out to our lease my son finally scored a hog with his bow. Well now that he broke the ice hopefully his luck will continue. This guy went in the 150ish range.

Default Junior

The funny part to this is, I have been telling him which stands to sit on and he decides he wants to sit somewhere else. So I sit in the stand I recommend to him and I get one. So finally he listens and scores. Our stands are not far apart and I've got hogs around me not yet out of the swamp. So he arrows this hog, it starts squealling, well like a stuck pig running in circles. Junior arrows it one more time then gets down from the stand. As he walks up to the pig it attempts to get up. So he puts a .40 cal slug in the pigs head. He found the slug later on mushroomed up in the dirt which makes me wonder if the slug bounced off the hogs head. So needless to say with all that noise the pigs around my stand vaporize. But hey, I love to see my kids successful and it doesn't matter to me if I score so long as they do. My son is 22 and since he was a little guy hunting and fishing has been our together time. Now he is fixin to get married and that is going to impact our hunting time. Dont know how I feel about that.

Congrats. About time for you. We shot four this weekend. Lost two.

BTW the "kid" is probably 6'5" and 230. Just for perspective.
