Congratulations-it's great when we get the kids out there.
I have 2 Kids (grown) that Bowhunt with me & now a 10 year old Grandson. It makes my Bowhunting just that much for enjoyable...

One that I arrowed on a July Texas hunt, just under 200lbs. I love Tx but you guys got way to many creepy crawlers

My daughter and I went on our first boar hunt at Ted Nuggent's place in MI. this past weekend. At first I was a little cool to the idea of the whole "canned" hunt thing, but now having done it, both me and my daughter had a blast.
She also scored her first bow kill after 4 years of deer hunting! She was thrilled, and I think it has helped relight the fire for bow hunting!

Here a few pictures of what we took.

From the smiles on everyone's face it looks like y'all had a good time. Perhaps this was a good use of a 'canned' hunt. The main thing is that a good time was had by all.

The weather looks a little cold for this central Texas guy, but at least the meat won't spoil too quickly.

Uh, we got down about that low for a few days in January here. It killed my citrus trees and froze the cattle troughs over so that we had to go out and bust the ice so the cows could drink. You guys need to keep that stuff up there where it belongs !!

On the other hand, while I generally want to stay indoors when it gets much below freezing, I am willing to go out hunting in the cold weather. My wife thinks I am certifiably insane.

She's probably right, if not for that reason then there are probably others.
