NOT ME! I may work in the metromess but I live on 5 acres in unincorporated Van Zandt Co. No way in hell would I live here. And if I could find decent work and wages in the country I'd never come into town!
Now THERE'S an honest truth.

I can't help but giggle when thinking about all you poor smucks having to live in the metroplex.[8D]

Amen to that Greg!! If I didn't have to travel so much, I'd live at our lakehouse more. But I need to be close to the DFW Airport. We are south of Ft. Worth but it's still too close to the Metromess. My corporate office is on Coit and 75 but I only go there for meetings about every other month.

Life is too short to live in Dallas or Ft. Worth.

You all live in the bug mess up there and I'm parked out here in the buttcrack of the state! At least when we say it takes an hour to drive somewhere we are talking about 70 miles distance! And our trees are mesquite and scrub oak. Most my friends live up near DFW area...thank goodness for phone and internet or I wouldn't hear much from them! There are some crazy folks south of DFW...The Rev,Kanga....that type people!

Amen to that! We have some people in denial around here. When I use the phrase metroplex, I am including Dallass, Ft. Worthless, and everything within commuting distance in one lump sum.[8D]

I am a little envious of the Bass Pro and Cabelas, but since the Gander Mountain in Amarillo is only an hour away, I can survive.

Hey, I wanted to say thanks to everyone who PMed me and offered their help. The job was a bust, so it doesn't look like I'm going to be moving out that way after all. Thanks all the same, though!
