Well finally these hogs are moving again in the daylight hours.Have been hunting the 8 or 9 days and not seeing any. Check feeders and all the feed is gone and look at game cameras and all the pictures are 9 to 930 pm and 220 to 530 in the morning all in the dark. here's a photo of the last one we got. Just switched to hellrazor broadheads and love them.



Shot this one at 21 yds. right through the heart went 40 yds and expired.



So now we have been out there about 12 hunts since killing that last one without seeing anything. Only good thing is a lot of photos and still hitting our feed. It's been so long since we have had any sucess that I take my rifle and my buddy Mark carries his 357 pistol. We almost always bow hunt but were both getting a little ticked off since we had been seeing any. well at 5.22 I hear Mark shoot and thought well finally some daylight movement. Here is a picture of Marks hog shot at 23 yards and ran about 55 yrds where we found him piled up.

What bullet was Mark using in the 357? I have some handloads that would/should be good for something like that,Hornady XTP 158 grains.Hope I get to shoot at some pork regardless of weapon this year.
