Great post and thanks for showing the scale.That is a 300# "internet" hog. Most hunters have little concept as to what a hog weighs, even when you are there looking at him or picking him up. I can say that "real" weight hog over 200# is rare where I hunt (south TX) and one that will go 250# FD will win most of our contests.

I'm with several of you on guessing hog wieghts. It takes a monster of a pig to go 300lbs but you hear folks saying that they shot a 300lb pig all the time. Most of the time the pictures you see of folks posing with their 150 - 200lb pigs look like the pig is more like 60 - 100lbs to me.
Starting out I was thinking I was shooting 200lb pigs too until I got a scale!
150lbs is a really big sow and I've only shot 1 pig that actually got close to the 200lb mark and he didn't make it.
That's a 5' bucket on that tractor.

Where did you order the stock from?? Dont know why it would not let you pm..its working for others..
