In 2 days, I am going down to southern Oklahoma to do a little hog hunting. I will be hunting on my own (except for my brothers and dad), it will be on a 1200 acre walnut farm. Is there anything I should look for on where to find hogs, like with deer hunting you look for inside corners, funnels, bottlenecks, food, wateretc. .. . .

I think your best bet would be to do some quick scouting to try to find some good hog sign. I'd start looking in areas where there is extremely thick cover and food sources in close proximity to each other.

you have to look for areas that look as though a rotartiller busted up the ground. Also look for mud deposited on the lower portion of trees (from the trunk up, usually 24" from the ground up). If there is alot of acorns and nuts on the ground then there wont be much rootin, unless it has just rained. Hogs eat a variety of foods....worms, grubs, vegetation, meats, fish, grain, etc. If its there, they will eat it. yes sour corn works like magic....and smells like #&%*! Good luck!
