That is correct. Got a slip from my doctor in 2003. Hunted with a crossbow for a couple of seasons and gave it up.

You're right about that Robb.....Oklahoma is very "punchy" about crossbows when it comes to game animals. In Texas, you can crossbow hunt deer as long as you do it in regular gun season. But that's just been here lately. When I was growing up, a crossbow was basically a useless piece of equipment, something you hung on the wall cause you coiuldn't hunt ANYTHING with it. But in Oklahoma nowadays with hogs, I don't think theycare a bit. After talking with the two wardens I got the feeling that they really want people to kill the hogs anyway they can. Their main concern was that people would go into the woods during deer season hunting deer but when stopped would say they were hunting hogs. They just wanted to make sure that there were no loopholes that the hunters could use against them.
