My favorite Broadhead here in Fla, is Crimson Croc. there tuff. Cut on contact and fly nice. Here we have a sh@tload of Hogs. I just use a hard hitting two blade, (drop's em) nothing fancy. i use Rage broadheads for gobblers. For hogs I perfer to go Indian style just my 2 cent's

90% of my hunting is hogs, I use 125gr and 140gr Magnus Snuffers and the SS's on my compounds. On my XBow i use Magnus Snuffers 100's, I have never had any problem knocking hogs down. (All fixed)

Mechanical blades fly identical to a field point of equal weight. No special tuning required with mechanicals,
I beg to differ on the fixed head not flying right.

Mech. heads are just a band aid solution for an untuned bow, tune your bow properly and fixed blade heads will fly just as good and with the samePOI as field tips.

Of course bow tune is only part of it you must also have the correct spined arrows for your set up with a decent FOC and last of all the shooter also has to be tuned to his equipment.

So tune the bow, tune the arrow and tune the archer.

I agree 100%. If you cant tune your fixed heads, you need to learn more about achery. Its curtial to all game that you have your gear tuned.
