Axis is better than whitetail in my opinion! Sika is good but rich dark meat...a little goes along way.I try to hunt what I will eat...except shooting varmints!

We hunt and kill Sandbar Deer and Ifavor itover Axis or Sika.....

What about sheep(rams)? Are they good to eat? Do you quarter them and take out the backstrap like hogs and deer. How do you cook them? Thanks

i personally am not a big fan of white tail but i love axis deer, from what i hear they got 4 stomachs like a co, and the meat is more tender
