Im workin on planning a hog hunt in Texas. Im wanting to use my bow but i didn't know where the ideal shot placement is. I read that pigs have a big shoulder plate and the best shot was quartering away. Im just lookin for a little help.

Low and behind the shoulder. I shot them with my compounds and my recurves. They do have a shield that is hard to penetrate, but if you keep it a little lower than you do on a deer, and just behind the shoulder, you will be ok. Let me go steal some pics that Reb posts, they show it well.
