Default Hunts for Heros

Russ (Ausie-guy) and I have been blessed to get hooked up with Hunts for Heroes. Their web site is www.showofsupport.org . We are taking Jay Fondren hog hunting with his new Bowtech Guardian ( donated by Bowtech) Sept 21 along with a film crew.

We hope this is the beginning of many more great hunts to come. We also have some exotic hunts planned soon.

Some of you guys have known us for sometime know we kid a lot, but this is no joke. Go on the site and show your support. I urge you all to get involved in something like this, the rewards are truly amazing.

This is Jay and I at the Texas Trophy Hunters Extravaganza in Ft. Worth.

Well you know what path I was down until I met Ausie... ... I would say I was in a bar ditch, but he would call it the ravine...[:@]
Don't worry, he'll be on here soon tooting his horn. After all he's a legend in his own mind!

Typical Polak[8D]getting things all backwards you was the one who called it a ravine, it was Greg, Kyle and myself who put you straight about it being just an everyday bar ditch

Don't worry, he'll be on here soon tooting his horn. After all he's a legend in his own mind!
I dont have to toot my own horn, I will just wait and see how good you are putting on your new limbs, string n cables then tuning your bow

But in all honesty folks Bob and I are not doing what we are doingfor Jay for personal gain or appraise, I for one will never be able to repay Jay or any of the current or pastmilitary men and women for what they have done and continue to do so I can sleep safe and enjoy the thingsI love to do.

But I do urge everyone to go over to the link Bob provided join the site and say "Thank You" 2 small words that mean a lot to the vets.

Mitchell PM me with your phone number and address. We are just getting the hunting season started. I am sure we can arrange something. Txjourneyman in this forum will also let you hog hunt on his lease. He's a good guy, but don't tell him I said that, he'll get the big head.

PS, we are all injured when we return from war, it may not be physical, but injured for ever.

Thanks for the Service to our country. As an ex Army Ranger, I appreciate allthat you guys do. I served two tours in Viet Nam. Here is a pic taken on my first tour, I am on the left. Back when berets were earned, not issued.

If there's does like last year we need to harvest a couple extra,it would be up in Jack/Young county area of Texas.
