Bit of pork left in the freezer so I decided to make up some Aussie sausage rolls.

That is true... I haven't even looked at my bow since this job started, but I have to get the carpet man in on Sat. be the last weekend for a while. I will not have to stay, but will probably be there until 9 am. I'll try to make the next one, at least to donate to the pot... Hey, I did manage to shoot a pretty nice gar two weeks ago. I made the trip to my lake house just to cut grass and of course shoot that nasty ole gar.

Man, those sausage rolls look good. Maybe some gravy on the side. Got a recipe for them?

Yep a little scratch here a little scratch there but dont wash your hands the dirtier your finger nails the better.

Roll in flakey pastry and cook till golden brown

Just kidding of course.

I just add the spices I like for taste dont want to take too much of the pork flavour away, a little salt n pepper some bread crumbs.
I make the pastry from scratch from my mothers recipe but you can buy it in a carton and just add water.

Roll out the pastry, roll the pork intoabout a 1/2" log place on pastry roll pasty over meat cut into 6" lenghts cook @ 350 till the pastry is golden brown.
