RE: Hog hunt PA
Man let me tell you, if you wanna the easiest hunt of your life go to steve moore island
hunts! let me tell you what your gonna get for your 350.00 bucks
you'll get there and talk to the guy and then you'll go to the river and they will take you by flat bottom boat accross to the island its about 1 mile long if that and once you get to the island you'll walk around a little bit (stalking) ha ha, until you walk up to a tame pig and dissapointingly shoot the pig at like point blank because he probably wont run, chances are he'll stand there and look at you until you shoot him!
big time rip off if your going for the hunt factor! its not hunting here it is shooting!
your best bet is to go to a local butcher and buy a meat hog!
Or you can go to www.huntingpigspa.com and find a real farm to hunt pigs!
they are more expensive But the pigs are bigger and they are WILD,
The reason i know so much about ISLAND hunts is because it was the biggest waste of time and money the me and my buddies ever SPENT!!!
But never again!!!!!!!!

The rams are really no differant then the pigs,
Most of the time you go pick what you want and then he puts
a colored tag in the ear and you dont hunt for your ram you
hunt for your tag!
Sometimes there are rams left on the island that people
cancelled and are leftover but most of the time you tell him what you want and
pick it out!!!!!
anouther good preserve is in tioga, they have everything there
and you actually can hunt there!!!!
plus they have a lot more options on what you can shoot!!!!
but still the best is www.huntingpigspa.com TRUST ME!!!!

I have hunted at High Ridge Preserve in Gastonville several times and always had a good time there. Great guides and service. Cost is 350.00$ plus tip. They skin and quarter the hogs as well, and the hogs were dfinately not tame. Pm me if you want more info.
