Huntquest, very nice Axis Buck you took. Have to find a Tx. ranch where there is alot of them to hunt reasonable. I use my CB to hunt with,have to keep them close. 40 yds. and under and really would like no more than 30 yds. on shots.

Here in Texas, we have wildaoudad sheep. I have seen them in the Cap Rock, but have yet to find land to hunt them on.[:@]

I hunt about 20 miles east of Sonora. Some family friends havea ranch out there. The arrow you seeing protruding from his back is a second shot. When I tracked him down, he was still alive. So, I put 1 more in him to make sure he wasn't going any farther.
