Here is a pic of a small hog (62 lb)I shot tonight. There has been a lot of doe activity in this spot over the last month and I passed up a chance to shoot a doe a week ago (too dark to avoid hitting the fawn that was in front of her). Keep hoping to put some deer meat in the freezer but no luck so far...

Anyway, he came out and I never pass on a chance to get some good hog meat. I shot himwith 3" 00 buck in my mossberg pump at about 35 yards. Hoping to try brining the meat to make some ham.

Not real hard. If you make a traditional bow, like a self bow, you simply cut the wood, use a draw knife to get it even, then bend it with water and a rope. For a compound, I just order the parts and put them together. This last one, I bought the riser off ebay, the limbs were some limbs i had laying around that I took off a bow I made for my brother, and the cams I ordered out of Canada. A guy had them listed at Archerytalk.
