What exactly to do
Today I just went turkey hunting in Jasper County Gerogia in a new club and they said that hogs were becoming an increasing problem and shoot everyone you see. I'd like to get in there and try and thin 'em out. What kinds of signs should I look for and ehat types of landmarks would be good to hunt around for hogs? I would appreciate any tips.

call me after turkey season and i'll bring the hounds down and we'll thin then out some but seriously look for rootin, wallows and rubs. when the weather heats up wallows can be a really happening place to find hogs.

They will mess up your turkey population. They will feed on the eggs. They are not hard to find. They will dig great big holes where they are rooting and will make wallows in loose dirt. They will also rub on trees, leaving a mud smudge on the tree.. Tracks too. Their tracks look like a deers except not as long. And they are much fatter. They will also leave more of a dew claw mark than a deer.
