Thanks for the kind comments all....He's a russian cross as our 99% of our hogs around here.Tree he was killed just outside of Palo Cedro Calif.Lotta folks only think of Calif as an urbanized state but up in the Northern part of the state we have got alot of fine country with some good hunting though most of it is private.Shot this dood over a wallow using a dripper with sow in heat out of a stand,with a 30:06!Came in right at dark,dang near could'nt see em but obviousily I could enough!Bullet hit him through both lungs,he might have taken maybe a step end of story!!Heres a couple pics of my dripper and wallows.We cant bait here in Calif (illegal)so you just have to go to plan B!!This type of set-up works well.A good a
active wallow with a dripper adjacent to it,a boar just cant pass it by...
