What are the details to this hunt? I am looking for somewhere to hunt for my first hog. I live in Illinois and Tennessee is very close. Any information would be appreciated.

Theres the info. Its a very exciting and upclose hunt. Its the same place I killed my boar at. All of the guides are very knowledgable and have some of the best hunting dogs I've seen. Gitrbayed can tell you more about it than I can.

gitrbayed, what I am trying to say is this.......you hunt free roaming hogs where they can run for miles and miles right? Where I hunted this was not an option. Someone a bunch of pages back asked where can I get a hunt like that, meaning killing a 600lb beast like was advertised at TN extreme. My ONLY mission was to dispell a myth that you can book a hunt there and walk in and shoot a 600lb'er any day of the week. The hogs I saw were freshly delivered off a truck and maybe pushing 225# for the biggest. I am sure for the right $$$$$ you can have one pictured, but you had better place your orderahead of time. This is why I said we are comparing apples to oranges.

of course their monster boar hunts are more the bigger hogs cost them more than doubble what a normal 150-200lb hog does. but you were also sayin that hogs weren't agressive. and i can prove that wrong quickly. all ya gotta do if get on the right hogs and around here there are plenty of right hogs i guess from the fact that some of the boar around are mean and free roaming take a look at the pic link ain't nothing there to keep them from coming and goin

I dont' think Mossy ever said they were not aggressive, he was sayign what he in a pen was an entirely different story. Maybe its me, but its very clear to me.

rebel are you denying the fact that I've got plenty of experience hog hunting?

No,No,No!You better than that! Man, I'm familiar with them there mountains! My wife and her 7 brothers were raised next to the Pisgah Forest. She has family strung out from Brevard, NC to Nashville,TN. I know what you boys can do! Especially with bears and hogs and a little moon on the side.I have been roaming them mountains every yearsince 1966.

The reason I mentioned Tree Climber is because I know Mossycomes to FL. sometimes. Believe me, I have no doubts onyour experience and abilities!
