You really do need the 3 Burleson boys for a tough job like this

I would msay trap as many as you can and move them.you will never get them all but most of them. then you can put the panels or red top hog wire around the feeders and keep them out.you may run an electric fence around the outside at the bottom.then you are sure to keep them off you feed.(MOST OF THE TIME)

I used to have this problem alot with rats, and weasels eating my chickens and pheasant and quail i would sell.I prevented this by digging 2-3 feet down and palcing boards there.So when they dig they would hit the board and eventualy give up.

Burleson, huh?? I actually live in Weatherford and I have friends in
Burleson. I hunt out west in Gorman....Near Ranger.

I talked with the guys I share my lease with today and after looking at
what it is going to cost to fence off my feeders, we are considering
hog hunting parties ourselves. We are talking about trapping, but
it is a good hour and a half drive. Can't check those traps too often.

Never heard of anything that stands up over time, exept electrical fences. with three lines at8 inches 16 inches and24 inches. Mind you, I know a case, where they wired the pigs inside their field, and didnt realise this until it became all to appearant!

Bait where you want them, and dont shoot there when you dont want them elsewhere.Hunt agricultural sites hard. (ye old carrot and whip principle)
If you are both a hunter and a farmer, remember that if you shoot the matriark the rest of the group will be in anarchy and wreck the area since they dont know whereelse to move.
To much food supplywill make them breed uncontrollably and out of breeding cycles, underaged and such. At least thats the word I hear around here.

Tplay, you may have to put some hunting parties together to help control the population. I know you probably don't like people running all over your lease, but getting some guys you know shouldn't be hard. unless you have put lights for hunting them at night it's hard to charge for this, but hunt them hard for months, will certainly help you, and may just keep them from coming in so often, or may drive them away completely. Remember pigs are not stuipd animals.. just ugly..
