I was using my new Weatherby Vanguard Synthetic. Its a 30-06, using a Bushnell 3-9x40 scope. I shot it at 30 paces with a 150 grain bullet, with a perfect shot to the heart/lungs at 9:30 in the morning . I was hunting at Big Horn Canyon Ranch in Moreno Valley, California. I'm 17 years old. My dad really surprised me by having the guy mount it. The mount will be done in 11 months to a year(popular taxidermist so it takes a while).
