Well I shot this javelina with my .243 last december and got the mount and I think it looks very fierce and am very happy with it!

Suprisingly there was no smell at all after the shot. It smelled no different than a deer.

man every one of them critters i shot when i live out in texas had a very, lets say, distinct aroma[:'(], i love the mount though, i regret never having one mounted, BTW did you eat it, i've only bbq'ed one and it was fair, could have had something to do with the amount of adult beverages being consumed, man i don't miss that though[:-], have a good one

I was thinking about eating it but the guy that caped it out for me said I would probably vomit if i did so I took his word on it.
