Default Avrage hog in TX

What is the avrage hog in brownsvill TX. We talking 100# or more?I am trying to figger out if I need a game cart :}It will be me and my dad.We pack 60# on our back very eazy. I live in Montana get a lot of packing up here.

well..... around this area the average hog is anywhere from 80-125lbs. so any cart to 125 would be good for around here. Winnie-Zavala-Monroe triangle.

The average ones you see in the day time will be around 100lbs.....

My personal rule of thumb, the smaller the better!!!

Is'nt anything better that a small pit-pig for the smoker..

myne to i like the 80lbs but a nice 300+ is good everyonce in a while, the big hard to fight ones =) yea my Lease is in Comesniel and we have a few acres in Zavala we hunt hogs on i love it up there.

It's true. The smoker size pigs are about the best tasting thing out there. I love hunting those big elusive ones though.

Im way further north than B-vill, but around here they average about 150.

Around Bryan/College station I would say they average around 100lbs.

I hunt around San Antonio, I guess the average would be about the same since I cant say I weighed any of the hogs we took. My guess would be that they average 150-180 for these ferals but then again they are fed corn by auto feeder all year long too.
