Here's one of my latest projects.....a double barreled .30-30

The monoblock is one piece annealed AISI 4140 and the barrels are salvaged from Savage M-340 rifles

What receiver are you going to mate it up to?
Are you going to put iron sights on both barrels?

double rifles use only one site normaly they have a rib down the center between the barrel most double rifles are big bore for up close work and are big bucks,,,highly engraved and such..good luck with it

This mono block is being made to specs for a customer in Pennsylvania. I really don't know what he plans to mount it on.

No, but it helps to get a good paying job if that's the career you're after. It would be nice if you could just walk into an employer and say "I'm a Gunsmith" and they hire you on the spot no questions asked... But it doesn't work that way. But if all you're going to do is tinker on stuff every now and then, you're good.
