Default glock ???

i own a glock model 22 40cal. I saw that a few of you have the model 27. i have a chance to get 2 of them for $350each and was wondering how good they really shoot being so compact, and what the recoil was like compaired to the model 22.

I once went to the range with a bunch of Glocks - a model 27, 23, 22, and 34. Stuffed a 15 round magazine into each one. Laid them out on the picnic table. It was a good comparison. As the guns get smaller, the amount of muzzle jump between shots increases. At the end of about 100 rounds, I decided to purchase the 23 instead of the 27. Roskoe

I have the 27 and was shocked how accurate this little gun is. I was hitting 4" groups at 25 yards with a rest. For a little compact like that, I don't think its bad. But it does kick up. Just the nature of the small grip.

I agree with Roskoe, I prefer the 23 over the 27(just a little more to hang on to). As BC said, the 27 is definately a shooter for such a small piece. I got a chance to shoot one right after they came out and was very surprised at how well it performed. But for $350, I'd have a hard time turning that one down. The sub-compacts (26, 27, 30 and 36) will fetch $400+ all day long around here.

At that price I don't know that how they shoot is important. Looking at the market price, I'd get 'em and turn 'em around or keep one and sell the other to defray the cost. Don't think you can lose on this one.

Great guns, excellent price!!!

Just went to the range today and had to qualify with my 27. You can sure tell the differnce going from the G22 to the G27 but it still shoots super accurate and is much easier to hide.

Definitely get them.
Up here in IL, they go for $500 each.

The only reason I see not to get one is if you prefer the flatter profile of a Kahr.
If you already like the 22 or 23, it should be a done deal.
