rem 760 in 35 rem

i am loking for this gun for my buddy. he has always used a 35rem up in maine. i told him that i saw one but it has been long sold.
how hard is it to find one in this caliber? also does anyone know how long ago remington made this run in that caliber?

I read, either on this site or another, that some big shop in PA has (had) a limited run of 7600s in 35 Remington. I guess they purchase of bunch in different calbers each year. If I remember correctly they also had some in 260 and 7mm-08. You might want to do a search of this site.

I see them every now and then on gunbroker.com and gunsamerica.com. A while back, I was looking at a model 141 in .35 REM. The 760 replaced the 141 and it was available for quite some time in that caliber. I'll keep an eye out.

My uncle has a rem 760 in 35 rem. I think his is about 12 to 14 years old, but I could be wrong. At least 12. It has Gamemaster stamped on it I believe. Hope that helps. Good luck finding one.
