Down to three varmint rifles, help me choose!

Default Down to three varmint rifles, help me choose!

1) Remington 700Vs 22-250 Laminated stock, heavy barrel, no scope rings, $575 new.

2) Ruger MKII Varmint Special 22-250 laminated Stock, heavy barrel, comes with scope rings and a $40 mail in rebate to Ruger, $519 (with rebate)

3) Reminton 700Vs 22-250 Composite Kevlar stock, heavy barrel, no scope rings, $590 new.

I'm buying one of these this week, i need help deciding. I want the best for the buck (don't we all). Thanks. Let me know 1 2 or 3.

I have always had good luck with 700's and especially the varmint models.

Of those three choices, I'd go with the synthetic stocked 700.

I have a 700 BDL in heavy barrel with a full wood stock and would take the synthetic if given the choice!

i dont like the looks of synthetic stocks , so that narrows it a little, beyond that i have no expirence with either

I would go with the Ruger if it was me. For you I would go with the one that fits the best.

With the Ruger, your limited to 1 style of scope mounting system and upgradeable parts. You can'y beet the Remington 700's for out of the box accuracy. Between the two Rem's I would go with the synthetic stock since they are made from H-S Precision wich has the full length bedding block
And they do not warp under change in climate. If you get the Rem. With the synthetic stock and don't like it Email me and we can trade stocks....I have a brand new Rem. laminated stock with bottom metal, never used. [email protected]
