RE: sighting in new scope
i shoot somewhere in the area of 15,000 rounds a year threw many differant guns. and the only shells that i have sent back the factory for testing were remington. shotgun shells that would not eject, to missfires on center fires and dented brass on rimfires. i don't buy shells by the box we buy them by the case.
am i just unlucky? i don't think so. remington has some quality control issues. |
RE: sighting in new scope
i took the rifle to the range today, shooting 150 grain core-lokts, i have it shooting 1 inch groups at 100 yards and every time its off even a little i notice its because of error on my part

RE: sighting in new scope
but i would consider shooting winchester or hornaday 130s... whats wrong with using 150's for varmints?

RE: sighting in new scope
besides the fact that its major over-kill lol

RE: sighting in new scope
i had the gun sighted in perfect at 100 yards yesterday, went back to the range today and i was shooting horribly... it was deffinately my fault though, i couldnt keep the gun steady, i felt like i was flinching, idk what my problem was, i really couldnt concentrate. i think my arm is beat up from all the shooting and weight lifting i've been doing lately... shootings great, but how am i gonna get all the ladies without my real guns? haha, anybody else have bad shooting days? i know it happens to me shooting my bow every once in awhile

RE: sighting in new scope
everybody has bad shooting days. anyone that tells you he can shoot good everyday is full of it. and if you watch his nose real close you will see it start growing.:)
