Freezing cold, 30 Below sounds like North Dakota. But one shot, usally is all it takes but to be sure....I'd have to say a Ruger M77 in 416 Rigby. That'll drop right away, no questions asked.

Why work when you can hunt???? Heck why work at all!!

Without a second thought....it would be my Remington 870 pump gun with rifled slug barrel....NO IF ANDS OR BUTS ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I got to agree with maine hunter, my 1895ss hasn't failed me in northern michigan's rain and snow. Thump em with the big stuff!
