I am with RUGGER.
I think the bigest thing missing now days is craftsmanship. Most all guns now are mat finnish with a plastic stocks.
I would like to see a nice wood stock that has been hand carved. In good old blue.

I'd like to see the Ruger77 RSI chambered in 6.5x55 and 7x57. A classic style of rifle
with two very classic chamberings.
As for those who would like things like the Savage 99, walnut stocks with hand cut checkering, high polish blueing, etc., well I'm sure the factories could turn 'em out again, but then all most would do is gripe about the prices. Given the cost of highly skilled labor that would be required they would likely have to be made overseas.
Of course, you can still get this quality - buy a custom made gun. Heck, there's enough
complaining here even about the cost of Sakos.

Powderless firing mechanisms. One piece cartridges - nothing but slug. We'll see them in our lifetime. Some will think it's great, others will chastise the old ways' demise. There was an article about this in February's Outdoor Life. I think that was the issue. . . I read it in the airport. I can't wait to see one.

I reckon I could come up with a million of em. And the gun I am about to recommend IS available from Wildwestguns but for that kind of price I expect a quality piece of wood and a bolt action chambered for whatever I want.
I wish Marlin would chamber the 500 S&W in a 16" carbine length 336. Just for farts n giggles. It would only be suitable for big game inside of 100yds (with stout loads for deer, twice that!) and ammo would cost out the yingyang but what the heck. I would like to have one.
Da lil 50 dat could,

Beretta is importing some 94 copies that are available in 454 Casull. Those might have to do for the while!

Amen Moose !!!! Us southpaws never get enough respect......
I would also to see Ruger make the Single-Six Bisley model in stainless steel with adjustable sights. This would make a great gun for small game hunting or target shooting.
