Just wondering, I have been looking for that gun in stainless steel. Did the store happen to have any more, either in blue or stainless?

Not sure there is much interest in this cartridge on this forum or in general.

Its only slightly behind the 25-06. I was thinking of getting one a while back but then I got a good buy on a Ruger in 25-06. I am glad I went that right now. Its a tack driver and out performs the stubby version. They should be a good varmit/deer combo gun.

i don't think the the cartridge has to much chance of getting a good start because of the 25-06 being such a great caliber so it might be a waster of money being that ammunition will probably not be able to be found even the 25-06 never truly caught on because of the .243

Wow,seems no one is anamored with this caliber.Like I said I was looking towards a 25-06,but for the $ couldn't pass it up.Seemed to be almost identical balistically to the 25-06.I'm planning on getting out this weekend to shoot it,I'll post my results.
