Just a thought- did the ejected brass land on a hard surface? At my club the benches are on a concrete slab and brass hitting the slab can have bent mouths.

it's funny you mention that becuase the brass actually landed on solid ice which would be like concrete. guess i'll have to go back out and shoot some more and make sure the cases actually land in the snow this time.

I found on a buddys gun the brass was hitting the plate the scope was mounted to. just a though.I have also saw a few of the empties from my BAR have a little bend in the end. never though much of it because othere have the same thing.
