Yes i have one, and they are the best cartridge for so many things. Cheap to reload,no recoil.and very accurate. Shot many deer and other goodies with mine. Mine has a 24" barrel. on a Mauser action. need more info just ask vangunsmith

I assume you read Ralph Lermayer's article in the new issue of the Complete Rifleman. If not you should check it out....

I had one for a while when I was shooting steel silhouettes. Mine had a 26 inch barrel. I made mine from a 700 Remington. Its an excellent hunting round as are all the rifles that shoot the 6.5 caliber bullet.

I shot a benchrest one. Had 30" barrel 1" OD barrel Shilen, with 700 action. Not much to say, made one hole at 200 yards. Whats expected out of a benchrest gun.
Seems to be the hot cartridge in 1000 yard shooting. I was going to have one built myself. But kept hanging around the 1000yardshoots and saw that it would take much more time and stuff than I was wanting to invest.

Apparently someone, whom doesn,t know anything about them i guess. I gather you don,t have one, what a pitty you haven,t had the pleasure of shooting one,at paper or game. Its really a shame,i,m sure all your weapons are of the finest grade and calibers. vangunsmith
