Looking up serial numbers

Is there a web site that one can look up the manufacturing date of his firearms from their serial number?

If you're in the NRA, write to them. If they can't tell you, no one can. Some NRA members aren't aware of this, but firearms ID is free service for members. They can tell you all there is to know about a particular gun. Only thing they won't do is put a price on it.

beebecl, Thanks I didn't know that.. By the way what is the NRA? Only kidding. Been a Endowment member since 03 and a Life member since 1977.I'm proud to be affiliated with them.Thanks for bringing up another NRA Benefit for those non-believers.
