RE: where is your favorit?
My brother's barn loft. It's less'n a hundred yards from the house, with a kerosene heater its cozy enough. The loft door opens onto a game trail. Enough deer go by, close enough to guarentee you a kill every year. Too bad it's 500 mile off, in an expensive to hunt state. [X(]

Well since I've only hunted in New York that's an easy question to answer. I do have one stand that I call "old faithful." It's positioned in some thick pines about 20 yards from the edge of an old grown up apple orchard. Over the years, several nice bucks and 4 Black Bear have been taken from this spot. It's just one of them great locations. When I hunt it, I just know I am going to have some action.

Montique Island, in Prince William Sound Alaska..
I know of places with bigger bucks, and even places with more bucks, but it's something about wondering around in that temporate rain forest there...... For me, it was always a place i liked better than any of the other islands up and down the coast.

well, seeing that i've never deer hunted out of the state of texas, i'm going to have to say texas. we had a lease off the caprock canyon state park in the panhandle several years ago. i've seen many, many nice mulies, whitetail and super trophy aoudad sheep taken. i would say what size but i'd be called a liar.
