RE: Burris Signature Rings

Oldelk, I can't say i have had trouble with the leupolds. But thats just one persons experience. Doesn't mean much. Do you have any experience with the Sako's? Kinda strange how they attach to the bases from the bottom. On this new one, I just torqured down real tight with locktight.

Lots of options there. Thanks for the info. May go sticky tape on the BIL gun.

The Zeiss ring info is very interesting. For some reason to top it off my BIL has to have offset rings.....

Offset? You mean the extended bases? Probably won't make a difference.

Yep probably wrong term. Its the extended ring thats funny looking and giving the trouble. IE if he didn't use that extended ring it might not slip?? I"d told him to try the burris since they have worked so well for me up to 7mags. We'll have to re look this over totally.

THanks, Jeff
