savage 99 info needed

I just got an old?? savage 99 in 300 savage. I am wondering if anyone has info as to where I can get the production date of this rifle. thanks. dcl

ADVICE ADVICE if it shoots good and looks good don't sell it. I did and am still kicking my but. I miss that gun, took my first deer with it.

I have several old savages , if I had your serial number of the gun I think I can tell when it was born ..
