Default LOOKING FOR!

I'm looking for a Remington Model 760(pump) in the 6mm calibre. It would complete my dad's collection, and he's been looking for one for the past 15-20 years. It does NOT need to be a BDL, but hopefully in MINT condition.

Hi Rattle,
BDL and ADL refers to the model 700. The 6mm is sorta a wierd cartridge. Very close to .243. I use to hunt deer with it long ago but now don't see too much of. The remington 760 only came in .308 and .30-06, at least the earlier ones that I know. BTW, after couple of seasons with the 6mm, I went with a 760 in .308.

Yes, the early ones were mostly fairly plain and had the "tootsie roll" shaped forearms.
The 760 went on to be produced in several calibers in both 18" carbine & 22" rifle barrel configurations...calibers included the tiny .223 and the beefy .35Rem...also came in BDL models with the square forearm and basketweave checkering.

I have a beautiful 760 /.35Rem rifle with deluxe checkering & fleur-de-lis scroll pattern on the forearm and pistol grip, black accent end caps, etc...the 200grn .35Rem puts a deer down right now too.
(bought it new, sighted it in with a Leupold scope, shot two deer with it in a week's vacation, and it's laid cleaned & lubed in it's case ever since)

Please ignore my post :P. Roundball has it right and is more current on the Remington 760s. I didn't know they expanded the line, but designated it 7600. Oh well, sorry bout that.

I have a Remington Model 7600, 35 Whelan pump for sale. Black Syntheic stock. Comes with Sling, two magizines and a boat load of brass. She's a killer. I just don't need anything that big anymore. $300.00 firm or will consider trading for 25 or 30 '06 bolt actions. Let me know.
