Okay, what is the MOST COMMON High powered rifle that can take down any North American game, bears, boars, elk, moose...etc
I'm looking for the on that can take down any N.A. game, but the MOST COMMON one...
I'm thinking the most common high power caliber that can take down any game in North America is a 30.06, but I might be wrong...
Thanks for the help

There is a reason my name is so typical...
Any questions?
And I second the guy who posted that every big game animal in North America has been taken with my rifle, a Remington Model 700 BDL.
BTW, I just called Remington the other day and learned that this one was made in 1973. It was so basically clean-looking at the pawn shop that I thought it was only a couple years old. Must have languished in a closet for decades. Shoots VERY well.
