The only Ruger rifle I have found that comes in 7mm08 is the compact. This gun felt too small, I wish they would build one in an ultralight or full size.

According to their website they just have the Compact you mention. One with a laminate stock and one with a walnut stock.

Don't recall as Ruger ever made the UltraLight in 7mm-08, but they did run the full size
mod.77R in 7mm-08. You might want to try one of the gun auction websites to search
for one.

Actually they did. In Target Grey no less. It was never listed and I think there were only about 500 made. I have one and my neighbor has one. Great little gun.

Wow, I've never heard of it, much less seen one. If you can, please post a picture - I'm not doubting you, I'd just love to see it. Laminated stock?

If they made one in the standard MK II or all weather I would buy it tonight. I am looking at Savage, Remington, Tikka and all of the others and haven't found one that is confortable just yet,

I will post some pics of it as soon as I get a chance to take a few and figure out how to post them. BTW, it has a synthetic stock, not the laminate like my other All Weathers. Wish it did have laminate. Might have to put in a call to Richard's Microfit and order one.

I was not aware that the Ruger didn't come in 7mm-08. Check out the Winchester Model 70 Classic Featherweight. I absolutely love mine.
