This is one round that I have yet to see fired. I don't believe this round will make it. I bet the WSM will, but I think the SAUM, was a little late on the seen. Don't get me wrong, I love new rounds but there was too many offering in the last 2 years.

If you go to Bass Pro shop and look at the Ammo shelf there was no SAUM ammo on the shelf but boy was there every single 270-7-30 wsm product on the shelf and on the gun racks.

My brother own a 300 SAUM. He has shot 1/2" inch 3 shot groups from the outside of the bullet holes not the center. I like the caliber but there is no reason to pay 30.00 a box i get get shells for a 300 Win Mag for less. In the town where i live only 2 300 SAUM's have been sold. They have 2 7mm SAUM's on the shelf but i can't see spending 30.00 a box. I would get a belted Magnum first. They are good calibers but Winchester was ahead of the game.

i think one of the reasons the saum's won't make it, it because they have slightly less case capacity then the wsm. winchester got browning to help so that's 2 big boys chambering rifles for it. remington is all alone and i don't think the saums will make it.
