I use to know some info about this company but now I can't recall. Probably because I just got one in a collection I purchased...tough getting old.[:@]

Western Arms Company was an off shoot of Ithaca Gun Company. They started in 1929 and were set up to produce a lesser expensive SxS at that time. They were made in all four guages. The Long Range model was last made at the beginning of WWII.
