well fellas, after a week long search on the net and calling gunshops, the Remington 742, or 7400 in 25-06 could not be tracked down, so I checked on the web and I found that Browning makes a BAR in a safari model in.... 25-06, called Cabelas and it will be in my possesion by the first of the year ( had to order it) so my search is over. This will be my first Browning I have ever owned! Sorry Remington, maybe you should offer more than 3 calibers for your rifles.!!!!;)

Remington seems to be doing some cutbacks as far as chamberings and loads in their ammo lately. Wonder why???
