.270 or .25-06?

25-06 . you can get either rifle in countless and I might add identicle options and configurations, so "handleing" doesnt mean anything with these two calibers.

I would take the 25-06 over the.270 any day of the week .Mainly because I really like the .25 .Never did take to the .270. Must be because I used 130 grain bullets instead of 150.Lost one with the .270 never have with the .25.But that is just my really biased opinion.

I vote for the 270 on the basis of ammo availability.

Both are great deer cartridges.My choice would be the 270. I've had much success using my 270 on WT's. Either you decide on would be a great choice.I just like my 270 the way it's performed on Whitetails.
