25-06 . you can get either rifle in countless and I might add identicle options and configurations, so "handleing" doesnt mean anything with these two calibers.

I would take the 25-06 over the.270 any day of the week .Mainly because I really like the .25 .Never did take to the .270. Must be because I used 130 grain bullets instead of 150.Lost one with the .270 never have with the .25.But that is just my really biased opinion.:D

Both are great deer cartridges.My choice would be the 270. I've had much success using my 270 on WT's. Either you decide on would be a great choice.I just like my 270 the way it's performed on Whitetails.
